Guru is the one who creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. We extend our deepest gratitude to our Guru “Amol Dongre” for his selfless teachings in Indian classical music and sharing his knowledge and being a constant source of guidance for the Chandwani family. We are also grateful to "Dr. Madhuri Dongre" for her guidance and blessings, the entire Dongre family has been supportive and has always motivated us to move ahead in our journey of learning and teaching music. We pray that God Bless the family with lots of abundance, knowledge to continue contributing in the field of Indian Classical Music.
ABOUT AMOL DONGRE
Born in a singers family. Amol Dongre started his education at the tender age of six under the guidance of his Mother (Dr. Madhuri Dongre). She trained him in Vocal as well as instrumental music. His sister gifted him a keyboard and that was a turning point in his life.
Amol Dongre started making innovative use of keyboard for Indian classical music and brought out a number of music albums. His idea to play Indian classical on a Western Instrument clicked well and the present generation is picking up this trend and using this instrument for classical music. He has won several awards from the Government of India and has been awarded as The Best Keyboard Player.
Amol Dongre sees a unique link between Music and Architecture and has conducted several workshops by using Music to teach architectural concepts.
Amol Dongre also received Keyboard training from the talented Enoch Daniel and also worked on a unique project of Music Engineering under the guidance of The Legendary Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma. He has performed in various Music Festivals across India.
